SEARCH ENGINES

Scuba Navigator offers multiple search engines that will allow you to find both Divers and Shops. If you are looking for a Diver there is one option: the Buddy Search. If you are looking for a shop there are three options: the Navigator, the Directory, and the Search Box visible on every page.

Why three? Well, the Navigator leads you down the search. If you are not sure of the best way to search, this will help. The Directory offers a faster way for Divers to get where they are going, with the caveat that you must know what you are looking for. Finally, the Search Box provides the easiest tool to perform a broad search of all the Shops.

SHOPS

If you have a shop and want to get found by one of the Search Engines, it is very easy: Just create your Account and add your Shop; once it is approved your Shop will be listed. Usually the approval process is a matter of a few hours.

Many of the Shops have taken advantage of our offer to display their Shop Logo alongside their Shop Information. Just take a look to see how effective the logo is in drawing attention to a Shop. To get your logo displayed, visit the Account Portal or email it to us today.

DIVERS

Whether you have a Shop or not, we are all Divers. As a Scuba Navigator Diver you may participate in many activities on this site. These activites include submitting reviews or comments about Shops you like, making suggestions to improve Scuba Navigator, contributing your photos to be displayed on our pages, and you may also create a personalized page describing your experiences as a diver. When you create your own page, you then have the option to be included in the Buddy Search.

INSTANT UPDATES

Need to change your phone number, email address or any other information. Just update your your information and the changes are visible immediately - Shop or Diver.

BANNER ADVERTISEMENTS

In addition to being found by customers searching for specific items, when you list your Shop on Scuba Navigator your Shop is also displayed (randomly) on the banner advertisements at the top, sides and bottom of every page. Visibility is the key, and we deliver it for you. Due to space considerations, shop logos are not displayed in banner advertisements at the top of the page.

As only a few lucky shop can get a banner advertisement on a page, we add to your chances by providing side bar advertisements that contain several shops per page. These side bar banner advertisements will display Shop logos.

SYNDICATED PRESS RELEASE FEED

You have an web page that you want to share with other Divers. What do you do? Email it to your contacts? Post it on your website? Put it on Facebook? Tweet it? There are lots of options these days, but one that may not have been available to you yet is the ability to put it on a RSS feed. RSS feeds (also known as Live Bookmarks, because you bookmark them in your browser and new posts appear automatically in your browser without having to open up a specific news site) are often retransmitted by other sites and quickly distributed all over the world in a matter of minutes. So, whether it be for distribuing your latest idea or reading others, Scuba Navigator has your covered. Submit your Press Release or an interesting article and it will be posted on the Scuba Navigator main page and delivered is off to the world. How do you beat that?

EXCLUSIVE SHOP PAGES

Each shop registered with Scuba Navigator has a Shop Info page which displays the basic information about your Shop and provides all of the contact information for the Shop.
